| Energy work is a deeply relaxing and a profoundly healing form of bodywork. During a session, you are fully clothed and feel a deep sense of nurturing as I apply hands-on healing. This treatment method works on the endocrine system via the chakra system. The chakra system regulates and stimulates all of the hormones in the body, which play a huge part in health and disease.
I began working with Rosalyn Bruyere 12 years ago; she is my original teacher and mentor of Energy Work. She is the inspiration and the primary source for Delores Kreiger ("Touch For Health"), Barbara Brennan, Fred Barnes (myofascial release), and many more healers and healing modalities. Her pioneering work with Valerie Hunt at U.C.L.A., an MRI study with Proctor and Gambler in Cincinnati, and ongoing study with autistic children with John's Hopkins make Rosalyn the primary advocate of hands-on healing in the world. She currently teaches the energy component at the University of Arizona Medical School with Andrew Weill. Rosalyn is a medicine women in eleven tribes including the Hopi. On three occasions, I had the opportunity to work by her side as an advanced healer in Vancouver as we offered our skills to the Squamish Nation.
Particular diseases and situations my clients have had success with include: cancer, the effects of radiation and chemotherapy, ADD/ADHD, depression, the effects of paralysis due to aneurism, neurological dysfunction, spinal abnormalities such as ankylosing spondylitis, hormonal regulation, diabetes (a tested reduction of sugar levels after treatments), allergies including asthma, and much more.
