Pam Bailey Acupuncture
Acupuncture helps to create greater health by creating greater flow and energy within the body and it's various systems.
This ancient oriental medical paradigm recognizes an ancient pattern of rivers throughout the body and the points that access those rivers. Should there be a block in the system creating pain, illness, or stagnation, the block is removed by accessing and working on various points.
To treat the appropriate points and meridians, I carefully use fine sterile needles and insert very superficially into the skin. I also use non-insertive needles that do not penetrate into the skin which is perfect for people who are nervous about needles and for children. I locate the points by using my adept, sensitive hands feeling for the the 'live' or energized point before I proceed. I use many techniques to help move the meridians and to stimulate the points which include forms of massage and oriental healing techniques.
I am gentle in my approach and am always available to my clients. I offer the techniques listed below and incorporate the techniques
and points according to a dignosis based upon the pulse, question,
the abdomen, and the tongue.

What Can I expect from treatments?
Each person and each health issue that is addressed by Acupuncture or Cranial Work will vary in its time toward resolution. I like to see signs of improvement right away or within the first two to three sessions. Some long term chronic issues that are the root cause of disease later in life take longer to resolve, as do some specific pathogenic conditions. Once a condition shows marked improvement, over a period of seven days, I usually see that the system begins to work quickly toward stasis and resolution of the issue.
Chronic conditions may require monthly visits to stabilize the issue on a permanent basis.
At times, I will make recommendations for food, vitamins, exercise, homeopathics, flower essences, or herbal therapies to support treatments. I try to simplify and streamline my recommendations.
